The purpose of Celebrate Recovery® is to encourage fellowship and to celebrate God’s healing power in our lives as we work our way along the road to recovery.We are changed as we share our experiences, strengths, and hopes with one another.In addition, we become willing to accept God’s grace and forgiveness in solving our life’s problems. By working through the principles, we grow spiritually, and we are freed from our hurts, hang-ups, and habits.This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy, and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with others and our personal, loving, and forgiving Higher Power, Jesus Christ. Celebrate Recovery® came to be at Set Free Baptist Church because of the increasing amount of people who are addicted to pretty much anything that takes over their lives.Alcoholism, Divorce, Sexual Abuse, Codependency, Domestic Violence, Drug Addiction, Sexual Addiction, Food Addiction and Gambling Addiction just to name a few.But for some it is the everyday way of life and they see no addiction in their life.
Here at Celebrate Recovery®, we can get through all the muck and mire and get down to the problem.The recovery program is based on the eight principles from the Beatitudes in the Bible.Anonymity and confidentiality are basic requirements.
